Estuvo disponible en espa\u00f1ol, guaran\u00ed y portugu\u00e9s, y atrajo a 3.235 estudiantes de 52 pa\u00edses. Esta fue la primera vez que el Centro Knight ofreci\u00f3 un curso en el idioma ind\u00edgena de un pa\u00eds latinoamericano.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c2020 fue sin duda el a\u00f1o m\u00e1s importante para la comunidad de fact-checking\u201d, dijo Tard\u00e1guila al comienzo del MOOC.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/journalismcourses.org\/course\/desinformacion-y-fact-checking-en-tiempos-de-covid-19-en-america-latina-y-e_self\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-15801\" src=\"https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/SP-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"Featured Image for disinformation and covid MOOC\" width=\"442\" height=\"296\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/SP-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/SP-768x515.jpg 768w, https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/SP-507x340.jpg 507w, https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/SP-350x234.jpg 350w, https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/SP.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 442px) 100vw, 442px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>El proyecto MOOC multiling\u00fce fue posible gracias al apoyo de la UNESCO a trav\u00e9s de su proyecto #CoronavirusFacts, financiado por la Uni\u00f3n Europea.<\/p>\n<p>La versi\u00f3n autodirigida, tambi\u00e9n disponible en <a href=\"https:\/\/journalismcourses.org\/course\/desinformacion-y-fact-checking-en-tiempos-de-covid-19-en-america-latina-y-e_self\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">espa\u00f1ol<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/journalismcourses.org\/course\/desinformacion_gu_self\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">guaran\u00ed<\/a>\u00a0y <a href=\"https:\/\/journalismcourses.org\/course\/desinformacao-e-fact-checking-em-tempos-de-covid-19-na-america-latina-e-no-caribe_self\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">portugu\u00e9s<\/a>, incluye el programa de estudio del curso, lecturas, videoclases y transcripciones.<\/p>\n<p>Los estudiantes aprender\u00e1n sobre la historia del fact-checking, conocer\u00e1n a las organizaciones de fact-checking en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, aprender\u00e1n c\u00f3mo iniciar una unidad de fact-checking, estar\u00e1n expuestos a herramientas b\u00e1sicas de verificaci\u00f3n de datos y recibir\u00e1n una descripci\u00f3n general de la regulaci\u00f3n que se usaba en otras partes del mundo para detener o reducir la propagaci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n err\u00f3nea o desinformaci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n obtendr\u00e1n una mirada espec\u00edfica hacia la verificaci\u00f3n de datos en relaci\u00f3n con la pandemia y las elecciones.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMe gustar\u00eda comentar que como estudiante de periodismo, mi experiencia con mi primer curso en l\u00ednea del Centro Knight fue enriquecedora y me ayud\u00f3 a aclarar ideas y proyectos personales en los que estoy trabajando\u201d, coment\u00f3 un estudiante en la evaluaci\u00f3n final del curso. \u201cAdem\u00e1s, las herramientas mencionadas en el curso son muy \u00fatiles para mi proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n. [\u2026] Sin exagerar, puedo decir que mi forma de hacer periodismo y qui\u00e9n soy ha cambiado despu\u00e9s de este curso\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA partir del contenido obtenido en este curso, pude dar una conferencia a estudiantes de secundaria sobre 'noticias falsas' y educaci\u00f3n en medios\u201d, dijo otro estudiante. \u201cComo periodista, creo que tengo el deber de aclarar, principalmente a las nuevas generaciones, c\u00f3mo comportarse en las redes sociales.
