Seg\u00fan el\u00a0informe mundial de derechos humanos<\/a>\u00a0de la ONG\u00a0Human Rights Watch<\/a>\u00a0(HRW), dado a conocer el domingo 22 de enero,\u00a0la pol\u00edtica del gobierno venezolano apunta a controlar a los medios independentes<\/a>\u00a0y al sistema judicial con el fin de silenciar a la oposici\u00f3n, report\u00f3 la agencia EFE.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan EFE, la directora de comunicaci\u00f3n de HRW, Emma Daly, asegur\u00f3 que el gobierno de Hugo Ch\u00e1vez ha dado muestras de \"una pol\u00edtica de\u00a0atacar a los medios independientes<\/a>\u00a0con cualquier ley que pueda utilizar y con normas para silenciar la disensi\u00f3n y acallar las voces contrarias al gobierno\".<\/p>\n

El informe de la ONG,\u00a0cuyos representantes fueran expulsado de Venezuela en 2008 por criticar a las autoridades<\/a>, a\u00f1ade que \"el gobierno sistem\u00e1ticamente ha socavado el derecho a la libertad de expresi\u00f3n<\/a>, la actividad sindical y la capacidad de acci\u00f3n de los grupos defensores de los derechos humanos\", a\u00f1adi\u00f3 la agencia AFP.<\/p>\n

El gobierno de Hugo Ch\u00e1vez mantiene una turbulenta relaci\u00f3n con la prensa, marcada por reiteradas sanciones a los medios opositores. La ofensiva gubernamental incluye\u00a0la suspensi\u00f3n de concesiones y el cierre de televisoras y radioemisoras<\/a>, la\u00a0discriminaci\u00f3n en la publicidad estatal<\/a>\u00a0y\u00a0numerosos procesos judiciales<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
