La bloguera cubana Yoani S\u00e1nchez<\/a> denunci\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s de su cuenta de Twitter que siete personas, entre ellos disidentes y periodistas, fueron arrestados<\/a> durante el funeral del activista Oswaldo Pay\u00e1 el martes 24 de julio.<\/p>\n

La bloguera inform\u00f3 que los periodistas Guillermo Fari\u00f1as<\/a> y Julio Aleaga<\/a> fueron arrestados afuera de la iglesia<\/a> donde se realizaba la misa f\u00fanebre de Pay\u00e1, activista que muri\u00f3 en un accidente automovil\u00edstico en Cuba<\/a> el domingo 22 de julio, de acuerdo con la agencia Notimex. Los disidentes Antonio Rodiles, y Ricardo Medina tambi\u00e9n fueron arrestados<\/a> en las mismas circunstancias, seg\u00fan informa la agencia Europa Press.<\/p>\n

Fari\u00f1as es un destacado periodista independiente<\/a> que logr\u00f3 la liberaci\u00f3n de 52 presos pol\u00edticos al realizar varias huelgas de hambre en 2010.<\/p>\n

Dos hijos de Pay\u00e1 han cuestionado la versi\u00f3n oficial del accidente<\/a> asegurando que podr\u00eda tratarse de un ataque premeditado, pero la opositora Comisi\u00f3n Cubana de Derechos Humanos insisti\u00f3 el martes 24 de julio en que se trat\u00f3 de un \"tr\u00e1gico accidente\", de acuerdo con la agencia EFE.<\/p>\n
