Jos\u00e9 Arita, periodista del Canal 12 en Puerto Cort\u00e9s, Honduras,\u00a0fue asesinado justo despu\u00e9s de salir de la estaci\u00f3n donde trabaja<\/a>.<\/p>\n

El asesinato, que tuvo lugar la noche del 25 de noviembre, involucr\u00f3 a cuatro hombres que\u00a0esperaban al periodista y comenzaron a dispararle<\/a>, como inform\u00f3 la agencia Associated Press, citando al vocero de seguridad Jair Meza Barahona.<\/p>\n

Meza Barahona agreg\u00f3 que el asesinato podr\u00eda estar relacionado con el trabajo de Arita, dijo la agencia de noticias.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan El Heraldo,\u00a0Arita sali\u00f3 de\u00a0su autom\u00f3vil para comprar algo en un negocio local<\/a>\u00a0cuando fue baleado.<\/p>\n

Arita dirig\u00eda el programa \u201cLa hora de la verdad\u201d.\u00a0Se quej\u00f3 de ser excluido de algunas conferencias de prensa<\/a>\u00a0durante su \u00faltimo programa, seg\u00fan la organizaci\u00f3n hondure\u00f1a de libertad de expresi\u00f3n C-Libre. El periodista dijo que invitar\u00eda a alguien a hablar sobre el nuevo C\u00f3digo Penal \u201cque solo apoyan a los delincuentes\u201d, agreg\u00f3 C-Libre.<\/p>\n
