{"id":47562,"date":"2018-01-22T10:25:33","date_gmt":"2018-01-22T15:25:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/?p=47562"},"modified":"2022-01-19T10:28:51","modified_gmt":"2022-01-19T15:28:51","slug":"medios-impresos-de-colombia-y-brasil-entre-los-mas-populares-en-twitter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/es\/articles\/medios-impresos-de-colombia-y-brasil-entre-los-mas-populares-en-twitter\/","title":{"rendered":"Medios impresos de Colombia y Brasil entre los m\u00e1s populares en Twitter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><em>Por Ethan Elkins*<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">La actividad de medios digitales y redes sociales contin\u00faa en aumento en todo el mundo, y Am\u00e9rica Latina no es la excepci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Hace varios a\u00f1os que el Centro Knight para el Periodismo en las Am\u00e9ricas cre\u00f3 una clasificaci\u00f3n informal de peri\u00f3dicos impresos en la regi\u00f3n con el mayor n\u00famero de seguidores en Twitter. Si bien es dif\u00edcil lograr incluir a todos los medios impresos nacionales y regionales de Latinoam\u00e9rica, recientemente volvimos a hacer el recuento entre los m\u00e1s destacados peri\u00f3dicos impresos y encontramos que medios de Colombia y Brasil son los que actualmente poseen la mayor cantidad de seguidores.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">De nuestra lista, el diario colombiano\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ELTIEMPO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s2\">El Tiempo<\/span><\/a>\u00a0es el que tiene mayor n\u00famero de seguidores en Twitter, con 6,25 millones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">La mayor\u00eda de cuentas de Twitter publica tuits y retuits, pero Twitter tambi\u00e9n cuenta con momentos y listas de funciones que dan espacio a formatos narrativos innovadores. El Tiempo utiliza estas nuevas funciones m\u00e1s que los otros medios que tambi\u00e9n ocupan los cinco primeros lugares de la lista, con 174 momentos y 72 listas. El peri\u00f3dico tambi\u00e9n conduce regularmente encuestas, que producen miles de interacciones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/folha\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Folha de S. Paulo<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0de Brasil es el segundo, despu\u00e9s de El Tiempo, con 6,18 millones de seguidores.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\"Creo que la manera en que Folha puede crecer es expandiendo su base de suscriptores digitales\", dijo Ygor Salles, editor de redes sociales de Folha de S. Paulo, al\u00a0<b>Centro Knight.\u00a0<\/b>\u201cEn esto, las redes sociales ayudan de dos maneras. Primero, traen al lector al sitio y tal vez hacen que se quede. Segundo, el reforzar la marca de Folha como un lugar en donde las noticias son tratadas con seriedad, un tipo de puerto seguro en medio del torbellino de las noticias falsas\".<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A El Tiempo y a Folha de S. Paulo les sigue otro diario de Brasil,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Estadao\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s4\">O Estado de S. Paulo<\/span><\/a>, o Estad\u00e3o, un peri\u00f3dico conservador que tambi\u00e9n se publica en S\u00e3o Paulo, y que cuenta con 5,97 millones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s3\">\"Creemos que en las redes sociales no se trata de cu\u00e1n grande es tu base de seguidores\", dijo Gabriel Pinheiro, estratega digital y editor de redes sociales de\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s3\">Estad<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00e3<\/span><span class=\"s3\">o<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, al\u00a0<strong>Centro Knight<\/strong>. \"Se trata de cu\u00e1nto puedes fidelizar a y trabajar con la base de seguidores que tienes\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">El otro peri\u00f3dico de nuestra lista con m\u00e1s de 5 millones de seguidores es\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JornalOGlobo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s2\">Jornal O Globo<\/span><\/a>, tambi\u00e9n de Brasil, que cuenta con 5,52 millones. Asimismo, tiene el mayor n\u00famero de publicaciones en redes, con m\u00e1s de 154.000 fotos y videos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">De los cinco primeros de nuestra lista, tres de ellos son medios brasile\u00f1os, y en conjunto tienen 17,66 millones de seguidores.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Brasil, M\u00e9xico, y Argentina tienen\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/statistics\/186919\/number-of-internet-users-in-latin-american-countries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s2\">la mayor cantidad de usuarios de internet\u00a0<\/span><\/a>en\u00a0Am\u00e9rica Latina. En 2016,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.emarketer.com\/Article\/Twitters-User-Base-Latin-America-Continues-Grow\/1013924\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s2\">eMarketer report\u00f3<\/span><\/a>\u00a0que 75,6 millones de latinomericanos usan Twitter, con una proyecci\u00f3n de 101,7 millones de usuarios para el 2020. Brasil tambi\u00e9n tiene\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldometers.info\/world-population\/south-america-population\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la naci\u00f3n m\u00e1s poblada<\/a>\u00a0de la regi\u00f3n, seguido por M\u00e9xico y Colombia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Cerrando el top cinco est\u00e1\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ElUniversal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s2\">El Universal<\/span><\/a>\u00a0de Venezuela, que tiene 4,79 millones de seguidores. De los primeros cinco, El Universal es el que tuitea con mucho m\u00e1s frecuencia que los otros, llegando a un total de 1<\/span><span class=\"s1\">,29 millones de tuits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Este a\u00f1o, la clasificaci\u00f3n\u00a0del Centro Knight se enfoc\u00f3 solo en el n\u00famero de seguidores de Twitter de los peri\u00f3dicos m\u00e1s grandes de la regi\u00f3n.
