"Google and Futura Lab present the Futura Media Program, a new training and support program for media outlets seeking to incorporate artificial intelligence into their workflows.
Starting Sept. 3, 12 media outlets will address concrete challenges within their own newsrooms. The program will feature training sessions, collaborative spaces, and personalized mentorship to help teams identify opportunities, and move forward with designing a solution applicable to each organization. Applications are open until Aug. 28 and can be submitted here.
The initiative stems from a practical question: At its current stage of development, where does artificial intelligence add value to a newsroom today? Each media outlet will define its own answer based on its needs, workflows, and team capabilities."
