“The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice did not admit the appeal filed by the defense and confirmed the 10-year prison sentence for journalist Carlos Granada, who was sentenced for acts of sexual harassment, coercion, and sexual coercion that victimized female communicators of the Albavisión Group.
The highest judicial instance did not admit the appeal filed by the defense for study, which practically finalized the sentence against the communicator, who was temporarily freed in March. Granada was convicted in November of last year, after a Court found that, while serving as press manager of the Albavisión Group, he engaged in repeated behaviors and similar patterns of harassment and coercion against the victims.
