"[Venezuela's] National Union of Press Workers (SNTP, for its initials in Spanish) reported that seven journalists died as a result of the twin earthquakes that struck the country’s central-western region on June 24. The SNTP expressed its condolences to the journalists’ families, colleagues and the broader press community.
