{"id":134729,"date":"2025-06-17T07:00:34","date_gmt":"2025-06-17T12:00:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/articles\/content-creators-and-online-video-gain-ground-over-traditional-media-in-latin-america-new-report-finds\/"},"modified":"2025-06-18T15:35:18","modified_gmt":"2025-06-18T20:35:18","slug":"criadores-de-conteudo-video-online-superam-midia-tradicional","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/pt-br\/articles\/criadores-de-conteudo-video-online-superam-midia-tradicional\/","title":{"rendered":"Criadores de conte\u00fado e v\u00eddeos online superam m\u00eddia tradicional na Am\u00e9rica Latina, diz relat\u00f3rio do Instituto Reuters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O tamanho do p\u00fablico da m\u00eddia tradicional \u2014 como televis\u00e3o, jornais impressos e sites de not\u00edcias \u2014 segue em queda, enquanto crescem as audi\u00eancias de criadores de conte\u00fado e a depend\u00eancia de plataformas de redes sociais e v\u00eddeo, indica o <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/reutersinstitute.politics.ox.ac.uk\/digital-news-report\/2025\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">novo relat\u00f3rio<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sobre m\u00eddias digitais do Instituto Reuters para o Estudo do Jornalismo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O relat\u00f3rio tamb\u00e9m destaca o surgimento dos chatbots baseados em intelig\u00eancia artificial generativa (IA) como uma nova forma de acesso \u00e0 informa\u00e7\u00e3o, especialmente entre os mais jovens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cEst\u00e1 claro que isso se tornar\u00e1 uma forma importante (e disruptiva) de consumir not\u00edcias\u201d, disse \u00e0 <\/span><b>LatAm Journalism Review (LJR) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">o jornalista Nic Newman, autor do relat\u00f3rio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O estudo, agora em sua 14\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o anual, foi encomendado pelo Instituto Reuters para compreender o panorama da m\u00eddia em diversos pa\u00edses. A pesquisa foi conduzida pela empresa YouGov, por meio de um question\u00e1rio online respondido entre o fim de janeiro e o in\u00edcio de fevereiro de 2025 por uma amostra significativa de pessoas em seis continentes e 48 mercados.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><b>LJR<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> resume aqui as conclus\u00f5es do relat\u00f3rio sobre a ind\u00fastria da m\u00eddia e o consumo de not\u00edcias na Am\u00e9rica Latina. Em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 regi\u00e3o, o estudo abrange Argentina, Brasil, Col\u00f4mbia, Chile, M\u00e9xico e Peru.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mudan\u00e7a rumo a plataformas de v\u00eddeo<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uma das principais conclus\u00f5es do relat\u00f3rio \u00e9 que, enquanto a m\u00eddia tradicional est\u00e1 em decl\u00ednio, fontes alternativas \u2014 como as plataformas de v\u00eddeo \u2014 est\u00e3o em alta. O formato \u00e9 utilizado por influenciadores, ve\u00edculos tradicionais e at\u00e9 pol\u00edticos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na Argentina, por exemplo, o v\u00eddeo online ao vivo, que mistura informa\u00e7\u00e3o e entretenimento, disparou durante a pandemia e continua crescendo. No pa\u00eds, 8% dos entrevistados citaram o canal <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@luzutv\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Luzu TV <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0como fonte de not\u00edcias \u2014 ele tem mais de 2 milh\u00f5es de inscritos no YouTube.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No Brasil, jornais como Folha de S. Paulo e O Estado de S. Paulo v\u00eam investindo em videocasts quinzenais e at\u00e9 di\u00e1rios, acumulando milh\u00f5es de visualiza\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na Col\u00f4mbia, o consumo de not\u00edcias via redes sociais tem crescido especialmente no TikTok (27%), um aumento de 5 pontos percentuais em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao ano anterior. O mesmo ocorre no Peru, onde o uso da plataforma aumentou 6 pontos percentuais no \u00faltimo ano.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No M\u00e9xico, apresentadores de TV e colunistas de jornais v\u00eam construindo audi\u00eancias pr\u00f3prias no YouTube. Dois exemplos s\u00e3o o influente programa di\u00e1rio\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCH4M_4Ed6SUidQthmZ60M2g\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sin M\u00e1scaras<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, apresentado pelo jornalista Manuel Pedrero, de 22 anos, e o <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@SinEmbargoAlAire\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sin Embargo<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, canal associado ao portal digital de mesmo nome, com 2,25 milh\u00f5es de inscritos. Os principais jornalistas do Sin Embargo, \u00c1lvaro Delgado e Alejandro P\u00e1ez, tamb\u00e9m t\u00eam presen\u00e7a frequente no Canal Once, o principal canal p\u00fablico do pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cA depend\u00eancia das redes sociais \u00e9 alta em toda a regi\u00e3o, e os ve\u00edculos tradicionais t\u00eam presen\u00e7a digital bastante fraca\u201d, disse Newman. \u201cVemos pol\u00edticos tentando estabelecer uma conex\u00e3o direta com o p\u00fablico por meio das redes e de coletivas de imprensa transmitidas ao vivo. Ao mesmo tempo, criticam a m\u00eddia tradicional \u2014 ou, ao menos, aquela que faz perguntas dif\u00edceis\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Confian\u00e7a est\u00e1vel no jornalismo\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A confian\u00e7a global no jornalismo (40%) permanece est\u00e1vel h\u00e1 tr\u00eas anos. Nos seis pa\u00edses latino-americanos analisados, a m\u00e9dia regional de confian\u00e7a \u00e9 de 36,3%. Nenhum pa\u00eds apresentou melhora no \u00edndice: Peru e Chile mantiveram seus n\u00edveis; os demais ca\u00edram \u2014 Brasil (-12 pontos), Col\u00f4mbia (-8), Argentina (-4) e M\u00e9xico (-1).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cNo in\u00edcio dos anos 1990, o jornalismo gozava de muito prest\u00edgio, e era raro desconfiar do que se publicava\u201d, disse \u00e0 <\/span><b>LJR <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Abel Escudero Zadrayec, consultor do Reuters Institute e tradutor do relat\u00f3rio para o espanhol. \u201cHoje, vivemos quase o oposto. Independentemente do contexto \u2014 econ\u00f4mico, tecnol\u00f3gico, educacional \u2014 os jornalistas precisam encarar a manchete que nos cabe: \u2018Estamos fazendo algo muito errado\u2019\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ainda assim, o relat\u00f3rio mostra que o p\u00fablico recorre \u00e0 m\u00eddia tradicional quando precisa confirmar o que aconteceu e verificar se uma informa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 verdadeira. Na maioria dos pa\u00edses da Am\u00e9rica Latina, quando se trata de not\u00edcias de \u00faltima hora, a confian\u00e7a do p\u00fablico \u00e9 maior na m\u00eddia tradicional do que em influenciadores. No Brasil, por exemplo, as fontes mais consultadas foram Globo (Jornal Nacional, G1), Band, Record e CNN Brasil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cConfiar n\u00e3o \u00e9 o mesmo que consumir\u201d, disse Newman. \u201cAs pessoas consomem conte\u00fados por v\u00e1rios motivos, inclusive entretenimento \u2014 e, nesse caso, a precis\u00e3o pode importar menos do que em temas como pol\u00edtica ou conflitos\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uso da intelig\u00eancia artificial<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pela primeira vez, o relat\u00f3rio abordou o uso de chatbots de IA. Em geral, o p\u00fablico permanece c\u00e9tico quanto ao uso de IA no jornalismo e prefere a supervis\u00e3o humana. Atualmente, 7% das pessoas no mundo e 6% na Am\u00e9rica Latina dizem usar chatbots de IA generativa \u2014 como o ChatGPT \u2014 para acessar not\u00edcias. Mas entre pessoas com menos de 25 anos, esse n\u00famero sobe para 15% globalmente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cO que ainda n\u00e3o est\u00e1 claro \u00e9 como as pessoas est\u00e3o usando esses recursos para consumir not\u00edcias\u201d, disse \u00e0 <\/span><b>LJR<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Amy Ross Arguedas, pesquisadora do Instituto Reuters e uma das autoras do relat\u00f3rio. \u201cElas est\u00e3o pedindo as principais manchetes do dia? Ou querem mais detalhes sobre uma hist\u00f3ria espec\u00edfica?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O relat\u00f3rio tamb\u00e9m mostra que muitos ve\u00edculos est\u00e3o testando a IA para personalizar melhor o conte\u00fado. Na Col\u00f4mbia, por exemplo, a tecnologia est\u00e1 sendo usada para atrair audi\u00eancias, monetizar conte\u00fados e criar ferramentas que facilitem o acesso \u00e0 informa\u00e7\u00e3o e a checagem de fatos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No Brasil, o uso de IA pelas reda\u00e7\u00f5es inclui desde tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e transforma\u00e7\u00e3o de textos em v\u00eddeos curtos at\u00e9 a gera\u00e7\u00e3o de insights a partir de grandes volumes de dados n\u00e3o estruturados. Grupos como o Estado e a Globo j\u00e1 publicaram diretrizes sobre o uso da tecnologia, refor\u00e7ando que a supervis\u00e3o humana deve ser constante.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desafios econ\u00f4micos<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A m\u00eddia na Am\u00e9rica Latina tamb\u00e9m vem sendo impactada pela suspens\u00e3o recente de fundos dos EUA, o que a for\u00e7a a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/pt-br\/articles\/golpeados-por-la-suspension-de-fondos-de-ee-uu-medios-de-america-latina-adoptan-nuevas-estrategias-de-supervivencia\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">diversificar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> suas fontes de receita.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O mercado de assinaturas digitais ainda enfrenta dificuldades. A propor\u00e7\u00e3o de pessoas que pagam por not\u00edcias n\u00e3o ultrapassa 18% na regi\u00e3o, segundo o relat\u00f3rio. O Peru tem a maior taxa (18%) e o Chile, a menor (10%).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na Argentina, apenas 11% dos entrevistados relataram pagar por not\u00edcias online em 2025. Os sites mais acessados \u2014 como <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Infobae<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e o canal de not\u00edcias a cabo <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TN<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 n\u00e3o oferecem modelos de assinatura paga.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No M\u00e9xico, alguns meios v\u00eam adotando modelos h\u00edbridos de financiamento. O <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Universal<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, jornal mais antigo do pa\u00eds, combina assinaturas impressas com conte\u00fado digital premium (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Universal Plus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) e publicidade online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para Newman, o desafio atual \u00e9 lidar com a redu\u00e7\u00e3o do financiamento externo.
