A partir de 2 de setembro,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.excelsior.com.mx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Exc\u00e9lsior<\/a>\u00a0inciar\u00e1 a transmiss\u00e3o de um\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/almargen.com.mx\/observatorio-de-medios\/nace-excelsiortv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">canal de not\u00edcias 24 horas usando a marca e os jornalistas do jornal nacional<\/a>\u00a0mais antigo do M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>O novo canal competir\u00e1 com a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tv.milenio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Milenio Televisi\u00f3n<\/a>, canal a cabo que tamb\u00e9m transmite 24 horas di\u00e1rias de not\u00edcias desde 2008 e que surgiu a partir de um jornal hom\u00f4nimo. No M\u00e9xico, a emissora\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnnexpansion.com\/negocios\/2013\/08\/08\/mexico-prefiere-la-tv-abiertade-paga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Televisa concentra 70% do mercado publicit\u00e1rio de televis\u00e3o<\/a>\u00a0e tamb\u00e9m tem 60% do mercado de televis\u00e3o paga por meio de seus provedores a cabo\u00a0Cablevisi\u00f3n, TVI, Cablem\u00e1s e Sky, segundo o site CNN Expansi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Atualmente, apenas 27,4% dos telespectadores no M\u00e9xico assistem \u00e0 televis\u00e3o paga, mas o acesso a esse servi\u00e7o est\u00e1 crescendo rapidamente gra\u00e7as \u00e0 entrada de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/eleconomista.com.mx\/industrias\/2013\/08\/26\/tv-paga-supera-14-millones-suscripciones-mexico\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">novos provedores de servi\u00e7os a cabo<\/a>\u00a0que oferecem tarifas mais acess\u00edveis, segundo o jornal\u00a0El Economista. Em maio, o\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/knightcenter.utexas.edu\/es\/blog\/00-13236-presidente-de-mexico-propone-ley-para-ampliar-la-competencia-en-radio-y-television\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Congresso mexicano aprovou uma reforma de telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es<\/a>\u00a0que busca aumentar a compet\u00eancia no setor ao licitar novos canais de televis\u00e3o aberta.<\/p>\n<p>Tanto os jornais Milenio como Exc\u00e9lsior pertencem a extensos conglomerados de ve\u00edculos de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o no M\u00e9xico, dos quais muitas vezes seus editores e rep\u00f3rteres participam em programas de r\u00e1dio e televis\u00e3o das empresas afiliadsa.\u00a0A Milenio faz parte do\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.multimedios.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grupo Multimedios<\/a>, uma empresa de Monterrey que possui 37 emissoras de r\u00e1dio,\u00a013 canais locais de televis\u00e3o, 18 jornais locais, uma cadeia de cinemas e um selo editorial. Enquanto isso, Exc\u00e9lsior foi adquirido em 2006 pelo\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/http\/\/www.imagen.com.mx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grupo Imagen<\/a>, que inclui v\u00e1rias esta\u00e7\u00f5es de r\u00e1dio e o canal a cabo\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cadenatres.com.mx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CadenaTres<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Desde antes, muitos de seus rep\u00f3rteres j\u00e1 tinham habilidades multim\u00eddia por participarem como convidados em programas de r\u00e1dio da esta\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0Imagen e do canal de TV CadenaTres, na Cidade do M\u00e9xico. Agora, a Exc\u00e9lsior TV incluir\u00e1 not\u00edcias especializadas em temas da pol\u00edtica nacional, internacional, local, espoertes e espet\u00e1culos, bem como not\u00edcias de \u00faltima hora. \"Todas as se\u00e7\u00f5es do jornal v\u00e3o se desdobrar em um canal de televis\u00e3o\", explica\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BeltranDelRioMx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pascal Beltr\u00e1n del R\u00edo<\/a>, diretor editorial da Exc\u00e9lsior e que ser\u00e1 o apresentador\u00a0do notici\u00e1rio principal do novo canal.<\/p>\n<p>Para o novo canal de TV, a empresa construiu um est\u00fadio de televis\u00e3o no edif\u00edcio do Excelcior, mais bem conhecido como A esquina da informa\u00e7\u00e3o. \"Capacitamos jornalistas de ve\u00edculos impressos para fazer televis\u00e3o em vez de contratar leitores de not\u00edcias\", agrega\u00a0Beltr\u00e1n del R\u00edo em uma entrevista por telefone ao\u00a0<strong>Centro Knight para o Jornalismo nas Am\u00e9ricas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Os v\u00eddeos postados no site da\u00a0Exc\u00e9lsior tamb\u00e9m foram um primeiro passo para construir uma plataforma multim\u00eddia com o objetivo de alcan\u00e7ar diversos p\u00fablicos. \"Os usu\u00e1rios que veem v\u00eddeos na internet s\u00e3o mais jovens,\u00a0e o canal a cabo ter\u00e1 um p\u00fablico mias interessado na informa\u00e7\u00e3o e de maior idade\", assegura\u00a0Beltr\u00e1n del R\u00edo.<\/p>\n<p>Os notici\u00e1rios televisivos a cabo buscam diversificar as op\u00e7\u00f5es informativas no M\u00e9xico enquanto os empres\u00e1rios dos ve\u00edculos se esperam a licita\u00e7\u00e3o de dois novos canais de televis\u00e3o aberta nacional como foi determinado na reforma das telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es, aprovada em maio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA sociedade mexicana est\u00e1 cada vez mais \u00e1vida por informa\u00e7\u00e3o pol\u00edtica, por isso questiona e compara mais as not\u00edcias entre si.
