Embora seja dif\u00edcil considerar todas as publica\u00e7\u00f5es impressas nacionais e regionais na Am\u00e9rica Latina, recentemente examinamos os maiores jornais impressos e descobrimos que os di\u00e1rios colombianos e brasileiros possuem o maior n\u00famero de seguidores.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">O jornal colombiano\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ELTIEMPO\">El Tiempo<\/a>\u00a0tem mais seguidores do Twitter do que qualquer outro na nossa lista: 6,25 milh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A maioria dos perfis no Twitter utiliza tweets e retweets, mas a rede social tamb\u00e9m possui recursos como momentos e listas que permitem formas inovadoras de contar hist\u00f3rias. El Tiempo usa esses recursos mais recentes na rede muito mais do que os outros cinco principais jornais na regi\u00e3o, com 174 momentos e 72 listas. A publica\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m promove regularmente pesquisas de opini\u00e3o, que recebem milhares de engajamentos.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/folha\">Folha de S. Paulo<\/a>, do Brasil, est\u00e1 logo atr\u00e1s de El Tiempo com 6,18 milh\u00f5es de seguidores.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\"Acredito que o caminho para a Folha crescer \u00e9 expandir sua base de assinantes digitais\", disse Ygor Salles, editor de m\u00eddias sociais da Folha de S. Paulo, ao Centro Knight. \"Para isso, as redes sociais colaboram de duas maneiras. Primeiro, elas trazem o leitor para o site e talvez os retenha. Em segundo lugar, refor\u00e7am a marca da Folha como um lugar onde a not\u00edcia \u00e9 tratada com seriedade, uma esp\u00e9cie de porto seguro em meio ao turbilh\u00e3o de not\u00edcias falsas.\"<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Atr\u00e1s de El Tiempo e Folha de S. Paulo est\u00e1 o brasileiro\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Estadao\">O Estado de S. Paulo<\/a>, ou Estad\u00e3o, um jornal conservador tamb\u00e9m publicado em S\u00e3o Paulo, que tem um p\u00fablico de 5,97 milh\u00f5es de seguidores na rede social.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\"Consideramos que as redes sociais n\u00e3o se resumem ao tamanho da sua base de f\u00e3s\", disse Gabriel Pinheiro, estrategista digital e editor de redes sociais do Estad\u00e3o, ao Centro Knight. \"Mas dizem respeito a como voc\u00ea pode se envolver e trabalhar com a base de f\u00e3s que voc\u00ea tem\".<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">O \u00fanico outro jornal da nossa lista com mais de 5 milh\u00f5es de seguidores \u00e9\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JornalOGlobo\">O Globo<\/a>, tamb\u00e9m do Brasil, com 5,52 milh\u00f5es. Tamb\u00e9m possui a maioria dos posts de m\u00eddia, com mais de 154 mil fotos e v\u00eddeos.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Do top 5 da nossa lista, os jornais brasileiros ocupam tr\u00eas lugares com um total de 17,66 milh\u00f5es de seguidores.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Brasil, M\u00e9xico e Argentina possuem a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/statistics\/186919\/number-of-internet-users-in-latin-american-countries\/\">maior quantidade de usu\u00e1rios de internet<\/a>\u00a0na Am\u00e9rica Latina. Em 2016, o\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.emarketer.com\/Article\/Twitters-User-Base-Latin-America-Continues-Grow\/1013924\">eMarketer informou<\/a>\u00a0que 75,6 milh\u00f5es de latino-americanos utilizam o Twitter, com uma proje\u00e7\u00e3o de 101,7 milh\u00f5es de usu\u00e1rios em 2020. O Brasil tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 o\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldometers.info\/world-population\/south-america-population\/\">pa\u00eds mais populoso da regi\u00e3o<\/a>, seguido do M\u00e9xico e da Col\u00f4mbia.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Fechando os cinco primeiros est\u00e1\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ElUniversal\">El Universal<\/a>\u00a0da Venezuela, que tem 4,79 milh\u00f5es de seguidores. Entre o top 5 da lista, os tweets de El Universal s\u00e3o os mais frequentes, com um total de 1,29 milh\u00f5es de tweets.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Este ano, o ranking do Centro Knight centrou-se apenas no n\u00famero de seguidores do Twitter para os maiores jornais impressos da regi\u00e3o.
