{"id":51686,"date":"2022-04-05T15:05:54","date_gmt":"2022-04-05T20:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/?p=51686"},"modified":"2022-04-13T15:34:47","modified_gmt":"2022-04-13T20:34:47","slug":"quatro-maneiras-para-aumentar-a-confianca-e-a-participacao-dos-consumidores-nas-organizacoes-de-noticias","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamjournalismreview.org\/pt-br\/articles\/quatro-maneiras-para-aumentar-a-confianca-e-a-participacao-dos-consumidores-nas-organizacoes-de-noticias\/","title":{"rendered":"Quatro maneiras para aumentar a confian\u00e7a e a participa\u00e7\u00e3o dos consumidores nas organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de not\u00edcias"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Membros do Centro de Engajamento de M\u00eddia (CME, na sigla em ingl\u00eas) da Universidade do Texas em Austin apresentaram sua pesquisa sobre como se conectar melhor com as comunidades e promover a confian\u00e7a com os consumidores de not\u00edcias em uma conversa no Simp\u00f3sio Internacional de Jornalismo Online de 2022 (ISOJ).<\/p>\n<p>O CME foi fundado em 2017 em um esfor\u00e7o para melhorar o ecossistema de m\u00eddia e promover aprecia\u00e7\u00e3o, confian\u00e7a e participa\u00e7\u00e3o nas not\u00edcias. Para isso, a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o pesquisa diversos temas junto a reda\u00e7\u00f5es de todo o mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Jessica Renee Collier, pesquisadora de p\u00f3s-doutorado no CME, estudou como incentivar a recircula\u00e7\u00e3o em sites de not\u00edcias. Ela analisou as diferentes maneiras pelas quais as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de not\u00edcias podem apresentar links em outras mat\u00e9rias, incluindo onde eles s\u00e3o colocados, como s\u00e3o redigidos e se as imagens s\u00e3o usadas ou n\u00e3o. \u201cUma vez que as pessoas est\u00e3o em um site de not\u00edcias, como podemos incentiv\u00e1-las a ler mais not\u00edcias?\u201d ela se perguntou.<\/p>\n<p>Para responder a essa pergunta, ela realizou uma pesquisa com a ajuda de v\u00e1rios sites de not\u00edcias e descobriu que os consumidores de not\u00edcias eram mais propensos a continuar lendo outras hist\u00f3rias quando est\u00e3o no final da hist\u00f3ria, t\u00eam palavras mais gen\u00e9ricas e incluem fotos. Encontrar maneiras de aumentar a participa\u00e7\u00e3o por meio de links pode ajudar a aumentar o engajamento em um site, disse ela.<\/p>\n<p>Enquanto isso, Gina Masullo, diretora associada da CME, concentrou-se em como as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de not\u00edcias podem se envolver melhor com um subconjunto de seus leitores, especificamente conservadores, que podem ser mais propensos a desconfiar das empresas de m\u00eddia. Ela descobriu que os consumidores conservadores estavam preocupados em serem estereotipados nas not\u00edcias e que queriam mais diversidade de vozes de direita no jornalismo. \u201cEles sentiram que as not\u00edcias geralmente t\u00eam uma voz conservadora que era superextrema\u201d, disse ela. Masullo citou um entrevistado dizendo: \u201c'Nem todos estamos dirigindo picapes com uma bandeira confederada nas costas.'\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ela sugeriu que as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de not\u00edcias podem come\u00e7ar a trabalhar para preencher essa lacuna, melhorando a diversidade de fontes e equipe. \u201cA diversidade de vozes \u00e9 sempre uma coisa boa\u201d, disse Masullo. \u201cUma maneira de as empresas de not\u00edcias encontrarem vozes conservadoras mais diversas \u00e9 fazer com que os jornalistas saiam para suas comunidades e passem tempo nos chamados rinc\u00f5es esquecidos. Al\u00e9m disso, as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de not\u00edcias podem se esfor\u00e7ar mais para contratar diversas vozes em todo o espectro pol\u00edtico.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m da diversidade, ela observou que os conservadores mencionaram que apreciariam mais transpar\u00eancia ao emitir corre\u00e7\u00f5es. No entanto, a transpar\u00eancia foi um tema importante na pesquisa do CME mesmo para novos consumidores que n\u00e3o s\u00e3o conservadores. Caroline Murray, pesquisadora associada da CME, estudou como as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de not\u00edcias podem melhorar a confian\u00e7a implementando cart\u00f5es de transpar\u00eancia ou informa\u00e7\u00f5es adicionadas a uma hist\u00f3ria sobre como ela foi elaborada e os passos que os jornalistas tomaram para tornar a reportagem justa. \u201cIsso d\u00e1 aos leitores uma vis\u00e3o do processo de reportagem\u201d, disse Murray.<\/p>\n<p>Em seu estudo, Murray exigiu que metade dos participantes lesse uma hist\u00f3ria com um cart\u00e3o de transpar\u00eancia e a outra metade lesse a hist\u00f3ria original sem as informa\u00e7\u00f5es extras. Ela ent\u00e3o entrevistou os participantes para avaliar suas respostas \u00e0 reportagem. No final, ela descobriu que havia evid\u00eancias que sugeriam que os participantes sentiam mais confian\u00e7a em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de not\u00edcias quando inclu\u00edam o cart\u00e3o de transpar\u00eancia. \u201cOs leitores valorizam a transpar\u00eancia dos jornalistas e isso pode ajudar a aumentar sua confian\u00e7a em alguns casos\u201d, disse Murray sobre os cart\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p>A diretora do CME, Talia Stroud, tamb\u00e9m estudou formas inovadoras de melhor interagir com os consumidores de not\u00edcias em sua pesquisa sobre question\u00e1rios. Stroud investigou como os consumidores de not\u00edcias se sentem em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos question\u00e1rios e os melhores formatos para os jornalistas cri\u00e1-los. Ela estudou question\u00e1rios sobre uma variedade de t\u00f3picos com diferentes formatos, incluindo m\u00faltipla escolha e aqueles com imagens. \u201cO que vemos \u00e9 que aumenta o tempo no local, as pessoas acham isso agrad\u00e1vel e aprendem com isso\u201d, disse ela.<\/p>\n<p>Stroud sugeriu que as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de not\u00edcias criem question\u00e1rios usando uma variedade de formatos, incluindo imagens ou uma escala m\u00f3vel, para ajudar os consumidores a se sentirem mais informados sobre t\u00f3picos complicados como pol\u00edtica.
