Para o m\u00eas de outubro, a IWMF est\u00e1 pedindo ajuda \u00e0 comunidade para homenagear mulheres jornalistas de todo o mundo, compartilhando fotos com hist\u00f3rias de jornalistas corajosas no Twitter, Facebook, Instagram e outras plataformas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMuitas mulheres jornalistas trabalham em \u00e1reas em que as mulheres t\u00eam poucos direitos \u2014 e as mulheres jornalistas, quase nenhum. Independentemente de onde trabalham ou moram, elas persistem em nos trazer a verdade. E em compartilhar hist\u00f3rias de humanidade que, muitas vezes, apenas elas t\u00eam acesso\u201d, comunicou a organiza\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Para destacar o papel das mulheres jornalistas na Am\u00e9rica Latina, o Centro Knight est\u00e1 pedindo a jornalistas que nos contem sobre uma jornalista que admiram na regi\u00e3o. Teresa tiene una licenciatura en Periodismo y Artes liberales (Plan II Honors), y una maestr\u00eda en Estudios Latinoamericanos, todos de la Universidad de Texas en Austin.
