A Funda\u00e7\u00e3o para o Novo Jornalismo Ibero-Americano (FNPI, por suas iniciais em espanhol) abriu inscri\u00e7\u00f5es<\/a> para o Pr\u00eamio Gabo de 2019, que reconhece os melhores trabalhos jornal\u00edsticos da Ibero-Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n

Os pr\u00eamios s\u00e3o distribu\u00eddos em quatro categorias: texto, imagem, cobertura e inova\u00e7\u00e3o. O trabalho jornal\u00edstico deve ter sido conclu\u00eddo entre 1\u00ba de abril de 2018 e 31 de mar\u00e7o de 2019, e pode ser em espanhol ou portugu\u00eas, de acordo com a FNPI.<\/p>\n

Os candidatos t\u00eam at\u00e9 23 de maio para enviar seus trabalhos.<\/a><\/p>\n

Os trabalhos inscritos v\u00e3o passar por tr\u00eas rodadas de julgamentos e os vencedores finais ser\u00e3o reconhecidos no Festival Gabo 2019 em Medell\u00edn, na Col\u00f4mbia, em outubro.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m disso, haver\u00e1 dois outros reconhecimentos concedidos na cerim\u00f4nia em Medell\u00edn, o Pr\u00eamio Clemente Manuel Zabala para um editor colombiano exemplar e o Pr\u00eamio de Reconhecimento \u00e0 Excel\u00eancia. Estes s\u00e3o escolhidos por um painel de especialistas e pelo conselho diretor da premia\u00e7\u00e3o, respectivamente.<\/p>\n

O Pr\u00eamio Gabo come\u00e7ou em 2013 e \u00e9 \u201cinspirado nos ideais e no trabalho de Gabriel Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez\u201d. Eles s\u00e3o dados pela FNPI com o apoio da Prefeitura de Medell\u00edn e dos Grupos Bancolombia e SURA e suas subsidi\u00e1rias na Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n

Em 2018, obras de Peru, Argentina, Col\u00f4mbia, Venezuela, Paraguai e Espanha<\/a> foram reconhecidas com o Pr\u00eamio Gabo. O Pr\u00eamio de Reconhecimento de Excel\u00eancia foi para o jornalista espanhol Ignacio Escolar do site eldiario.es.
