The Más Voces Foundation and the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) are calling journalists in exile in the United States to the event “What's Next?!”, a meet-up that seeks to create a space for connection, learning and new opportunities for those who face challenges in their careers outside their countries of origin. The event will be held on Feb. 28 at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami.
Participants will be able to interact with other journalists, media executives and key partners. In addition, there will be hands-on workshops on business models, revenue strategies and ways to break into the U.S. media. There will also be access to scholarships, funding and calls for proposals that may represent an opportunity for the sustainability of journalism projects in exile.
