“The Attorney General's Office reported this Wednesday [April 30] that someone was linked to the case for the murder of journalist Gustavo Sánchez Cabrera in 2021.
Authorities have identified the alleged perpetrator as Esteban 'C,' and he faces charges of attempted murder.
The Attorney General's Office explained that it took on the case because the indirect victims claimed there could be a link between the attack and his journalistic work."
