"Journalist Saúl Ortega Ortiz was found dead inside a home in the municipality of Guadalupe, Zacatecas, on Monday, June 2.
According to the report from the Attorney General's Office of the State of Zacatecas, the incident was a suicide, which they learned of around 8:20 p.m.
Upon arriving at the scene, authorities located the man's lifeless body, so they began the necessary procedures to remove the body.
However, some journalists have questioned whether it was a suicide, and have asked the governor of Zacatecas, David Monreal Ávila, to clarify the case and leave no doubt about the discovery of the reporter's lifeless body."
