"The organization Article 19 condemned the fact that independent journalist Frida Guerrera has received death threats on her personal Facebook account, starting on Jan. 14, 2026.
According to the NGO and as reported by the journalist herself, an unknown individual threatened to harm her, and after she published about it on her own social media, Meta removed her post for alleged violations of community standards.
On Jan. 30, the association explained, Guerrera realized she had a message from Jan. 14, in which a profile named 'Hugo Lozoya' threatened her that she would become his 'next victim of femicide,' in addition to describing acts of sexual violence."
