The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) reports that from 2005 to 2022 in Mexico, seven women journalists were murdered. While, according to ARTICLE 19, of the 644 attacks on journalists in 2021 approximately 30% (193) were attacks on women, the digital sphere is where these attacks have increased the most and where their gender condition stands out."
