"Media companies from the United States, Latin America and Spain are registering for the 79th General Assembly of the Inter American Press Association (IAPA), from Nov. 9 to 12 in Mexico City, where Grupo Salinas, a leader in digital innovation with more than 50 million unique visitors to its platforms, will be among the hosts of the event.
The Host Committee is chaired by Luciano Pascoe, CEO of ADN40 and General Director of Editorial Strategy of Grupo Salinas. It is made up of IAPA's main Mexican partners, including the digital native media La Silla Rota, led by Roberto Rock, IAPA's first vice-president.
In addition to a review of the state of press freedom in 25 countries of the continent, the program of the 79th IAPA Assembly includes presentations and panels of North American and Spanish media, as well as new initiatives for the sustainability of news companies."
