“The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) condemned Monday [Aug. 19] the murder of journalist Alejandro Alfredo Martinez Noguez, which happened Aug. 4 in the Mexican state of Guanajuato, and reported the entry of the case into its Observatory of Murdered Journalists.
Unesco Director General Audrey Azoulay urged Mexican authorities to conduct 'an exhaustive investigation' to bring to justice the perpetrators of Martínez Noguez's murder, which she strongly condemned.”
