The website Clases de Periodismo recently published the e-book Cuaderno de Estilo (Style Notebook in English) by linguist and editor Úrsula Velezmoro, in which she gives advice on how to improve spelling and writing in Spanish.
Cuaderno de Estilo can be downloaded for free here. The style guide includes advice on punctuation, spelling, foreign words or phrases, and answers to other common questions.
The author also recommends consulting the Royal Spanish Academy's website and subscribing to the daily updates from the Urgent Spanish Foundation for journalists to improve their writing in the language.
The Associated Press announced that it will release the online version of its Spanish-language style guide on Nov. 19, at 5 p.m. CST.
