Mars Salazar is an undergraduate journalism student at The University of Texas at Austin. She is an intern in the music department of The Austin Chronicle, a weekly newspaper published in Austin, Texas. Previously, she has done work with New Voices of Texas and For The Record (Austin Bat Cave’s op-ed writing workshop).
