"The Association of Journalists of El Salvador (APES, by its Spanish acronym) denounced this Tues. Feb. 7 on its social networks that agents of the National Civil Police (PNC) 'arbitrarily' held a journalist for 'at least an hour.'
APES noted that police officers 'held a journalist and documentary filmmaker from Inter Diario and Korean Broadcasting System (KBS)' in the Salvadoran capital.
'The journalist contacted the Association of Journalists of El Salvador via a phone call to denounce that he was being held by two PNC agents,' while he was waiting for a vehicle to be repaired, he said."
