Argentine President Javier Milei attacked 45 journalists and media in last two weeks

“[Argentine] President Javier Milei escalated his confrontation against journalism and defended the right of his followers to attack different journalists and media on social networks, with more than 100 messages of general and personalized harassment, during the last two weeks.

In that period, Milei attacked 33 journalists and hosts of radio and TV programs, along with 12 media outlets, whom he accused of accepting bribes for positive coverage, being 'manipulative henchmen' and 'accomplices of the real violent ones,' among other attacks he shared on social networks.

For the President, 'journalists are very brave for slandering, but very weak when receiving responses,' as he published last week in a long text titled 'Journalists on fire.'"
