According to a report published by the organization in September, between Jan. 1 and July 31, 2025, 51 cases were documented of journalists being brought before courts or administrative authorities, primarily electoral ones. This figure already surpasses the worst year on record, 2021, when 40 cases were documented throughout the entire year."
