"The Association of Journalists of Guatemala (APG, for its acronym in Spanish) published a statement in which it rejects an armed attack against the house of journalist Carlos Monroy. According to the APG, on the night of Monday, Sept. 2 of this year, shots were fired against the house of journalist Carlos Monroy.
In the publication, the APG said the attack was apparently perpetrated by a person who lives near the communicator and who was allegedly upset by an article published by Monroy."
