“Two recently released publications outline strategies for combating racism and advancing racial equality. In Anti-Racist Communication: A Guide to Inclusive Dialogue Everywhere (Planeta Publishing), Bahian journalist Midiã Noelle offers tools to refine behavioral and linguistic practices that help foster conversations without reinforcing stereotypes, prejudice, or inequality.
Aiming to promote inclusion and racial justice in digital spaces, the Black Journalists Network for Diversity in Communication (Rede JP), in partnership with the Peregum Institute, also launched the Best Practices Guide for Anti-Racist Digital Communication. The initiative is supported by the UNESCO Chair in Communication and other institutions.
The publication, available for free in digital format, will be accessible as a PDF on the official website of the Black Journalists Network for Diversity in Communication.”
