"The main journalist unions in Bolivia reported on Tuesday [Nov. 5] that 25 cases of attacks and threats against press workers have been documented during the 23 days of road blockades carried out by supporters of former President Evo Morales (2006-2019).
In a statement, the National Association of Journalists of Bolivia, or ANPB for its initials in Spanish, and the nine regional journalists’ associations condemned these “premeditated actions to silence the media and threaten the lives of journalists and press workers by Evo supporters from the ruling Movement for Socialism (or MAS for its initials in Spanish.)”
