"The National Press Association (ANP), which brings together Bolivia's main print media, warned on Feb. 6 that the back-to-back acts of corruption and judicial impunity recently uncovered in the country pose 'a high risk' for freedom of the press and expression.
The association released a statement in which it expresses 'deep concern' over these events that are 'undermining' Bolivian institutions 'and human values in a way that has not happened in the last 36 years,' and warned that 'these circumstances create a high risk [situation] for freedom of the press and expression.'"
