"President Jair Bolsonaro is blocking those who criticize him on social media, according to information from Human Rights Watch.
The non-governmental organization (NGO) says it has identified 176 blocked accounts, mostly on Twitter, including those of journalists, congressmen and influencers. Profiles of media outlets and NGOs are also on the list.
'It prevents blocked people from participating in public debate, violates freedom of expression and discriminates against them based on their opinions,' says Human Rights Watch."
