Bolsonaro supporter attacks and threatens to kill GloboNews cameraman in Aparecida, São Paulo

"Cameraman Leandro Matozo, from GloboNews, was attacked this Tuesday (Oct. 12, 2021) by a supporter of [Brazilian] President Jair Bolsonaro in the city of Aparecida, in the interior of São Paulo. The journalist was with station colleague Victor Ferreira covering the chief executive's visit to the location.

The two were preparing for a live broadcast when they were approached by the aggressor. According to the São Paulo Journalists Union, the man's name is Gustavo Milsoni and he works as a teacher at the Cid Boucault State School, in Mogi das Cruzes.

'If I could, I'd kill you,' Milsoni allegedly told the team. Afterwards, he 'head butt' Matozo in the face, which caused his nose to bleed. Despite the aggression, the cameraman is doing well."
