"When she was feeling threatened by Frederick Wassef, Jair Bolsonaro's family lawyer, journalist Juliana Dal Piva, of UOL, released the printout of a message sent by him on a messaging application. Dal Piva was convicted in a trial court for making public the information and she appealed the ruling. The 4th Chamber of Private Law of the TJ-SP (São Paulo Court of Justice) set for April 20 the appeal filed by the Defense of the journalist.
The case may have repercussions for press professionals all over the country [of Brazil], since the case discusses whether a threatening message can be made public or not."
