"On the eve of the fourth month since the execution of Dom Phillips and Bruno Pereira, a team from the Union of Indigenous Peoples of the Javari Valley (Univaja) found, on Wed., Sept. 28, the satellite communication device used by the English journalist executed on June 5, along with Bruno Pereira. In addition to the phone, the Indigenous people discovered in the jungle the wallets with the victims' documents. The objects were found in an area near the place where the two men were murdered on near the Itacoaí river.

The director of Univaja will forward the objects to the Federal Police.
