"Andreza Matais, executive editor of the Estadão newspaper in Brasília, had her account hacked on Gov.BR, the Brazilian federal government website that brings together services for citizens. The fraudsters changed the journalist's password and demanded money in order not to reveal her fiscal data.
Before the hacking, the journalist was attacked on social media for sharing, on Wednesday (Oct. 4), a report titled 'Lula acted in the operation for a bank to lend a billion dollars to Argentina and stop Javier Milei's advance.'
Signed by columnist Vera Rosa, who is part of Andreza Matais' team at Estadão, the article was answered by the [Presidential Palace of the] Planalto. In the social media, some government supporters launched insults against the prestigious journalists, while others presented arguments."
