"The 40-year-old journalist Romano dos Anjos was kidnapped on Monday night (Oct. 26), from the Aeroporto district, in the North of Boa Vista. According to the Military Police, he was at home, having dinner with his wife, when three armed and hooded men entered the property.
Initially, according to the MP, the bandits looked for money. Then they left the journalist's wife tied up inside the house and took Romano in his own car. The crime was around 8:40 p.m.
The journalist's vehicle was found minutes later burning on BR-174, before the Rio Cauamé bridge, heading north."
