Brazilian journalist who reported judge attended demonstration against Supreme Court is the subject of investigation

"Journalist José Maschio, from Londrina, in Northern Paraná, had to testify to the Civil Police for having published a photo of the participation of Judge Isabele Papafanurakis Ferreira Noronha in anti-democratic demonstrations against the Supreme Court (STF) last Sept. 7th The clarifications were provided last Monday (Sept. 27), as part of investigations opened at the request of the magistrate, who has the position of substitute judge in the district of Londrina.

On Sept.11, Maschio shared a first-hand photo of the judge along with three other people on the day of the demonstrations organized by Jair Bolsonaro's supporters on Independence Day. The case had repercussions and led the State Court of Justice (TJPR) to open an investigation against the magistrate for joining the political demonstrations. Participation violates the Organic Law of the Judiciary (Loman)."
