Brazilian fact-checking outlet Agência Lupa won Best in Show (small newsroom) in the global Digital News Design competition from the Society for News Design (SND). The prize is for a reporting project on COVID-19 deaths in the country.
SND reported: "One judge noted: 'Media outlets have struggled with expressing the magnitude of the COVID-19 pandemic in visceral terms: this is as close as we’ve got to do so.'"
