On this day, Aug. 31, 2020, BuzzFeed News will stop the production of its news product in Brazil, in Portuguese. It was the end of that fruitful journey that started May of 2016.
The decision to discontinue the operation was taken in the course of this year and it is the direct effect of the economic crisis triggered by the global pandemic."
