Entries for the Digital Media Awards Americas 2025, organized by the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), are open until Feb. 14.
Eligible categories include Best Data Visualization, Best Fact-Checking Project, Best Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Newsroom, among others. The 2025 edition also features new categories focused on innovative formats and the social impact of journalism.
Media companies from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, as well as international outlets with projects published in the region between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2024, are eligible to participate. Each entry requires a registration fee of 100 euros.
Finalists will be announced on March 14, and winners will be revealed on April 3 during the Digital Media LATAM 2025 event in Panama City.
