"The censorship of a featured story by Amazônia Real reached three months on Oct. 19. The Amazonas State Court has not given an answer to a lawsuit and two appeals filed by the independent and investigative journalism agency against the decision, considered an attack on the freedom of the press by specialized organizations and journalists from all over the country. The lawsuit is still pending in court and without a trial date.
The article 'Amazon Immersion Yacht lacked authorization,' written by journalist Leanderson Lima and published on May 14, 2021, was taken off the air on July 19. This was in compliance with a decision by Judge Mônica Cristina Raposo da Câmara Chaves do Carmo, head of the 10th Civil and Industrial Accidents Court of Manaus. The magistrate granted the request of businessmen Waldery Areosa Ferreira, Daniel Henrique Louzada Areosa and the company WL Sistema Amazonense de Turismo."
