Chicas Poderosas is organizing the 'Diversities in Command' course, which will be held in March 2023 in both Spanish and Portuguese. Participants can choose to take the classes live or watch them asynchronously.
The course will aim to teach journalism, financial sustainability, fundraising, project management, collaborative leadership and anti-colonial narratives. Its goal is to contribute to diversify profiles active in the media, in order to make it more common to find leadership from people who are currently underrepresented in the media.
While the course is open and free, Chicas Poderosas is especially interested in enrolling mainly women, Indigenous people, Afro-descendants, migrants, LGBTQ+ and people with disabilities. Those interested can register by completing a detailed form prior to the start of the course in March 2023."
