“Caracol Radio and the Prisa Group are concerned by the constant attacks that [Colombian] Green Party senator Jonathan Ferney Pulido Hernández, known as Jota Pe Hernández, has uttered or motivated through social networks, against our journalist Orlando Villar Forero, due to two journalistic publications made by this radio station. We consider that these attacks put the journalist's physical integrity at serious risk and restrict his right to work.
In response to the senator's publications, in which he mentions the name and photograph of the Caracol Radio journalist, through his social networks he has been receiving threats against his life and personal attacks, which constitutes, in addition to a risk to his safety, a form of of violence and intimidation.”
