Authorities of the locality specified that it was a murder committed by gunmen on Mon. night, Nov. 28. Córdoba was attacked from a motorcycle while traveling through a rural area of the municipality, one of his colleagues told AFP. He spoke on condition of anonymity for 'security reasons.'
The journalist 'was making reports and news about the local administration and about insecurity in the municipality,' detailed on Twitter the Colombian NGO Foundation for Press Freedom (FLIP, by its Spanish acronym)."
