"During the recording of the informative special 'Colombia asks the President,' produced by Noticias Caracol, President Iván Duque refused to answer a question posed by journalist Daniel Samper Ospina.

FLIP has documented that Duque strongly warned that he would not answer questions that came from 'that man,' referring to Samper. The president sought to justify himself by pointing out that the journalist had 'messed with his children,' alluding to an episode that occurred in early 2020. On that date, the journalist criticized the president for an act of nepotism: using public resources to transfer to his family and friends to a recreational park to celebrate the birthday of one of his children."
