“Independent Cuban journalist Carlos Michael Morales, was summoned again this Monday [April 21] by the Municipal Court of Caibarién [central Cuba], along with his employer, in the midst of a campaign to harass him deployed by State Security.
Morales was sentenced in May 2024 to 8 months imprisonment for the crime of 'disobedience', a sanction that was served by correctional work without internment and which he already served last January. However, the judicial authorities added six more months, Morales told Martí Noticias."
