“Independent Cuban journalist and activist Lázaro Yuri Valle Roca, who has been in prison since June 2021 and was sentenced in 2022 to five years in prison for continued enemy propaganda, left the island this Wednesday [June 5] for the United States after obtaining humanitarian parole.
