Cuban police detain journalist Henry Constantín

"'You don't know the bunch of pesos they pay me to go after people like you,' an official of the Cuban regime said Thursday, June 30, to journalist Henry Constantine, director of the independent media La Hora de Cuba. Constantine was detained 60 meters from his home in Camagüey, Cuba, by a State Security agent who forced him to return to his house, where he was approached by two other officers part of a police patrol. (...) His house arrest is part of the repressive escalation of the Cuban regime as the first anniversary of the historic anti-government protests of July 11, 2021 approaches."
