"After three days in intensive care, the death of Cynthia "N", daughter of Antonio de la Cruz, journalist of Expreso who was murdered on June 29th in the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico, was confirmed this Friday.
The 23 year-old was shot in the head with a 40 millimeter caliber bullet during the attack on her father by a group of subjects, and was hospitalized in serious condition at the General Hospital of Ciudad Victoria, capital of the state of Tamaulipas.
According to local reports, the death occurred this July 1 at 1:27 p.m., one hour after her father had been buried."
