It has already formally initiated the extradition process for this former commander of the fourth infantry brigade, who currently resides in the United States. And it orders the Attorney General's Office to issue the corresponding documents so that this man is extradited to El Salvador,' Cruz explained.
With this progress, all that remains is to wait for the Attorney General's Office to request Reyes Mena from the United States based on a bilateral treaty that exists between both countries for the extradition of Salvadoran and American citizens."
